  2. Yep at the counter buying the explosives. $21.86. Cash, check or charge? Cash, make it out to Tucson Demolitions? I believe that was the lines that followed? Probably my most favorite movie of all time. Such an awesome cast and plot with Pachino and DeNiro head to head. I was always more on the side of DeNiro in this movie. Always wished he had escaped with Chris too and they made a sequel some day again with Pachino and not now with them in wheel chairs at 80, like 25 years ago now... One thing I always loved about that move is how true and tight each of them were to each other. Neal to Chris when he was shot, Neal to Trajo and finishing him, Chris to and vise versa how Charlene didn’t betray him in the end. No matter what and the charges she was facing to give him up, she couldn’t. She gave him the signal - cops are here don’t come up here- as she truly loved him as he did her. I loved “how sharp they were” all the details they had worked out in advance like this if one of them were caught... That was cool and he got away too...I always hoped he was able to reunite with here after the dust settled and I’m betting that did happen...It would have been cool to also see Neal and Eide get away. I guess the dilemma made for a better suspenseful ending though. Sorry for the thread drift. Love this movie!

  3. I thought this would be a fun topic. When I first watched Miami Vice all the way from beginning to end, there were a number of episodes I didn’t care for, but after watching them again and again, they grew on me. “Made for Each Other” and “Cuba Libre” are two that come to mind. “Made For Each Other” was really just too screwbally for me the first time. And I remember trying to watch this episode probably five times and every time I’d fall asleep! But I grew to love the episode. I love Jan Hammer’s music on this. Stan, Larry, Izzy and Noogie all make the episode fun and enjoyable. I also really dig the Elvis tunes! “Treat Me Nice” is one of my favorites by him. It’s from his “Jailhouse Rock” movie. ”Cuba Libre” was just boring and hard to follow for me the first time. I just didn’t get into it. But subsequent viewings were much more favorable! I really love the intro sequence with Bob Seger’s “Miami”! Great tune!

  5. I’ve never been able to figure out why some dislike this one either? It’s got a superb freaky, psychologically dark plot that I thought gave a somewhat realistic view into victims of stalking & emotional torment—as well as an early view of the unintelligent, trashy, despicable methods or styles of so-called “reality” TV. I never go by ratings or critics either...most of those are inaccurate, and the people are paid to say whatever (whether good or bad) about the show or movie. I will view whatever it is, and I will decide if it’s good or bad. Lots of times I will agree with other fans on which episodes we like (even if the reasons are different), but once in a while people will disagree...and “Hell Hath No Fury” is one I think is awesome & I disagree with several other MV fans about...to each his or her own, but I stand by my views! I thought the plot was suspenseful & captivating, the performances by all were awesome, and talk about a creepy, wild ending that leaves you wondering...was there a “real” psycho stalking Ellen & she was mistaken before, or was this a copy-cat, or maybe it was all in her head? I don’t truly know! This is one of my favorites of the season, and I enjoy it every time I go through the show!

  6. Pretty good episode here! A bit sad, but many of the good/great episodes of Vice had sad moments... Especially sad endings. This episode felt kind of like a season 2 episode to me, but also fitting with season 3 for the most part. I love when Crockett says, "Suck eggs, pal!" to Stroh! If you caught Don's 1985 interview on Letterman, he said he doesn't like eggs. Sad, because I love to have eggs every morning if I wake up early enough!

  7. This a-ha song came out in October 1985 and I think it could be used in some “search” scene. It would work on some bittersweet scene. Morten Harket is a phenomenal singer!

  8. I don’t know why so many people hate this one. I’ve always liked it since the first time I saw it! Very fun episode with a spooky ending! I don’t really do ratings, but I’ll say I like it and approve it for repeated viewings! This is even one of those episodes I showed my wife because I thought she’d find it interesting! She’s still not much of a fan, but at least she’s tolerant of my Vice addiction! The one episode I showed her that she DID really like was “Definitely Miami”. She even downloaded Godley & Creme’s “Cry” shortly after! I’m glad @ViceFanMan likes this one!

  9. LOL, I was not aware that @Matt5 and @airtommy already found the hospital last year! I just noticed that this location was marked as "unknown" on @C Glide´s location site and wanted to fill the gap&solve, but you stole my thunder (shame on me that I have not visited this episode´s thread here for a very long time, but that has to do with that episode !) Anyway, I have some interesting pictures to add to show the full match between "Theresa" and "Bullet for Crockett" and the great job you guys have done already. The building behind Stan&Castillo is the backside of the mainbuilding and the entrance of the Inpatient Hospice today. North Shore Medical Center, 1190 NW 95 Street close to studio P.S. this episode had only 4 shooting days 28-31 March 1988, last filming for season 4 (probably 2 days at the hospital as many scenes play there, 1 at NW20/Downtown Department of Waste and car chase to Overtown station in teaser, 1 max at Opa Locka airport). All other scenes were re-used from other episodes as we all know.

  10. I rewatched “Viking Bikers From Hell” and really enjoyed it! I wasn’t a fan before, but I thought it was a really cool episode this time around! I really love Jan Hammer’s score for this. The title track sounds a lot like a Depeche Mode track or something. I honestly didn’t even think it was Jan Hammer! And we hear “Rain” again, which is one of my favorite Jan Hammer songs!

  13. This is a very cool shot of Don Johnson in 1986 for Season 3. I don’t think you see this picture online very often. I had never seen it until today!

  19. The Thin Red Line by Hans Zimmer-His most atmospheric and perhaps his most unique score for an incredible film. Conan The Barbarian by Basil Poledouris-Absolutely awesome on all counts, which it had to be in order to make up for a lead character who barely speaks. Dune by Toto (with an assist by Brian Eno)-I'm just a Dune/Lynch fan and love Toto's 80s sound. They really nailed it here.

  20. The moment when Sonny says "its over" There is something metaphorical about the scene. Ends with a funeral, lyrics telling to "turn it off if you want to" Its kind of hinting that Michael Mann is saying that this won't be the same again. After season 2 it is good television but it wasn't unique and special anymore.

  21. Kelly Preston died of the Big C at age 57. Tragic. So sad. May she rest in peace. Elvis' grandson Benjamin Keough also shot himself and died age 27. This is also a tragic loss. May he rest in peace. It's terrible that Elvis' grandson would kill himself. How could he do this to his mom and grandma? That's why suicide isn't the answer. Stan Switek would be saddened by this.

  22. Yuck. I rewatched this one last night and it’s pretty bad. It had been a long time and forgot how bad it was! Does somebody have a barf bag around here? It’s not totally awful... I’ll watch it again sometime, but Mikey is just ridiculously annoying. That part when he’s reciting a poem while handcuffed to that column, I had to MUTE the TV! Ugh, shut up, already! I don’t wish death on anybody in real life, but I think his character should have died when Gallego stabbed him. Good riddance!
