Very fun, genre-mashing movie.

To my recollection, I think Tubbs only wore those round gold metal glasses in “When Irish Eyes Are Crying” and “Indian Wars”, but he looked so cool and smart (especially in WIEAC). I’m near-sighted, myself, but don’t wear my glasses 24/7. I have a pair of round metal glasses but they are gunmetal and black. I am thinking of getting a pair of gold ones like Tubbs. Does anybody know what brand he wore? They look just like Ray-Ban RB3447V. The temples and arms look like they may be thicker on Tubbs’s, but it’s hard to tell unless someone has a really high-def snapshot of them. Ray-Ban RB3447V

“Victims of Circumstance” is one episode I can’t watch again. The plot is just tasteless to me, killing Holocaust survivors? Even though it’s fiction, it’s very insensitive and in very poor taste. NBC should have banned this one. What did that episode have to do with Vice? I only watched it only once about five years ago... Made me sick. On a lighter note... I couldn’t stomach watching “Miracle Man” again either. Maybe it’s not as bad as I remember, but just couldn’t do it... Maybe another night.

Ok, it also made me wonder because he said it was 1978, so not relative to Vice.

How about a new contestant for this one? Super easy!

I think it is really good suspense until the very end and has a great villain (BTW David Schramm sadly died this March) as well as great visuals, props and some serious topics (Air America, runaways, ...) to go along with.

I plan on taking some pics of a bunch of shooting locations in a few months when the weather cools down and I move closer to work (waiting for hurricane season to pass first). Maybe that'll help spark some interest 'round here.

The Brand is called "TECH by Hegstan" (made in the USA). I spend A LOT of time scouring ebay for rare stuff like this so who knows if there's any more floating around out there.

Careful about flashing that if you get pulled over by the police. You don't want to get arrested for impersonating a police officer. A lot of police have no sense of humor about that stuff.

Well that was my guess too, but I didn’t consider him to be a “villain”. I thought we was most good, just selfish. What says you Andrew? Is that the one your looking for?

I don't hate "Missing Hours," there are episodes I dislike more like "Free Verse," but at the same time don't believe in aliens either. I've watched supernatural shows, which I found interesting and it was in the right context. The subject didn't fit for MV. It wasn't related to what Vice deals with. Other episodes one of them being "Tale of a Goat" had elements of the supernatural as well. But I guess I liked the mystique /mystery in certain parts and that Trudy got some screen time. But in my rewatch, have to see, what I think about the episode.

So the church I attend finally reopened today, with many restrictions of course. Being 103 degrees I wore this.

As I am ever on the lookout for shoes styled as closely to Crockett's footwear as possible, especially those that can be worn with less dressy attire, I came across these babies. Light but sturdy and super comfortable. They're by a company called Zanzara.

I bought them for around 50 bucks on Poshmark. They run a little large. For instance, I wear a 9.5 and theres more room in them than most of my other shoes. A 9 would have been perfect. They run in U.S. sizes and are all over the internet. The style is called the Merz. I recommend a half size down if you like a snug fit. @Crockettt correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is one of your old region 2 rips, thus the faster audio, approximately 2 semitones higher in pitch. Still great though!

Been having a little fun while rewatching the series. I finally tried out a haircut I'd been thinking of trying for a long time. It's essentially an easy fade, but all the lengths are the longest, getting progressively shorter as you go down (from a number 12, to a number 8. I had to buy those clipper separately, as most hair trimmers don't have them). I couldn't quite part my hair like I wanted to for the first 2 weeks, but after that I've loved it ever since. Only addition I did was, I wet my hair and combed the hair down over my ears and took a scissor to it (about halfway down my ear). I figure, regardless of how long Don's hair got on the show, it was still trimmed over the ears (from what I can tell. Correct me if I'm wrong). Sucks that in a few weeks the temperature is really gonna go up here in Florida and I'll probably end up cutting it a lot shorter, but I go with comfort rather than style during that time of year. In the first 2 pics, I tried styling the way Don had it in season 1, and while I don't like the way I look with it, it's good to know I can feel more comfortable doing my own take on it (my hair has gotten longer since taking these pics). I'm looking forward to taking some pics of myself in some popular Vice shooting locations in the near future.
