  2. It was a perfectly fitting house with Asian vibe for Castillo´s character. It was selected for that reason and I guess they did not have to do much set dressing for filming.

  3. You can see it best in Heart of Night. When Castillo sneaks in you can also see parts of the kitchen in the background. To me it did not look shabby but simply unpretentious und colors mostly brown and black inside. It belonged to artist Helene Pancoast who was quite well known at the time. BTW price dropped again to 5,95m! At the end of this year we‘ll get it for a doughnut!

  6. I was looking at the Vice scenes filmed at this house, and I noticed that it's dark and hard to see anything of the house. I wonder if even back then it was in shabby condition and the film crew was trying to hide that?

  7. I loved this one, but I'm seriously into cyberpunk. Both the plot and visuals were great in my opinion. And I really liked Joel Kinnaman since the House of Cards (2019 The Informer movie with him is also good).

  8. Warning: Coop would never disclose the designers, but some of them are debunked if you see the threads through (pun-intended).

  9. According to IMFDB there were a couple in Stone's War (season 3), and then once or twice later in the series. And as an aside, the top Safari Arms has a squeeze cocker conversion...the Double Ace system. It's an interesting piece of gear, though it does make the profile a bit wider than normal.

  10. That´s the sad reason why Castillo´s home is on the market. Owner Helene Pancoast, a quite famous artist, passed away in June 2023. https://www.bacfl.org/blog/bakehouse-helene-pancoast-memorial

  11. It was in Heart of Night and Borrasca as well. And I doubt that anyone will pay more than 2m for this lot size (as the house apparently is a raze job).

  12. Howdy, gang! I recently started watching the series on Tubi and was so into it. I got as far as Season 2, Episode 14 before they pulled the plug today (March 1, 2024). I found it streaming free on Prime Video so I switched over there, logged in again a few hours later and now it requires pay to view. *cue angry emoji* Pluto seems to be the only streaming service showing it. However, it's not on-demand. They have an MV channel and they've been playing the episodes. They're still on Season 1 today. I mean, I guess I could catch them there once they get to where I left off, but it's not my cup of tea. I'm interested in buying the series, but can't at the moment, hence why I was so happy to find it on Tubi and then a very short-lived moment of happiness on Amazon Prime Video. Just wanted to share my small heartbreak on here. LOL! Wondering if the same thing happened to anyone else on this forum?
