Wow ... I missed this version of "Payback" ?!! ... I have to find it and see it. I really liked the movie when it was out.

Rewatched Payback with Mel Gibson, not realizing I'm actually watching a different version with the antagonist boss being a woman we never get to see and thus a different ending. In "One Eyed Jack" Gina spends the night with Crockett and then we get the standard TV trope of the girl wearing the guy's shirt the next morning. She's wearing Crockett's football jersey. They put some sort of filter on the camera (maybe to make it seem like dawn?) so it is difficult to see the jersey. Coop thought the jersey was red and got a red Indiana University jersey . But I brightened up the picture and then it became more obvious it is orange. It is a Miami University Hurricanes jersey. This makes no sense, since Crockett played for the Hurricanes' rival the Florida Gators. Maybe it's a souvenir given to him by a Miami player? I couldn't find any players wearing #53 around that time. I wonder which players wore number 53? Here you can see the 1980s Hurricanes uniform on star quarterback Vinny Testaverde:

I like how this is really sleek. On mine the patch pockets always open up and the shoulders drape differently, so it doesn't look as neat.

Yeah, I think the most of the difference is the last 15 minutes or so which happen at a train station instead of the house with kidnapped Bronson's son, which in this version just doesn't exist.
