  1. Some of you may know how much I love season 3 costumes. I was not “searching” for it, but I came across this recently and bought it for $39 because it had “Universal Studios” property tags on it. I knew I recognized it, but couldn’t quite place it. Well I found it last night while watching Cuba Libre!! I’m gonna go all Coop here with the details for the sake of finding more stuff like this in the future, but given the Miami store on the tags where other screen-worn items were purchased, the Universal Studios tag, and these two photos below, I’m 99% sure it’s at least “authentic”!!! edit: forgive the horrible offering of the episode shot—it’s my iPhone taking a picture of the Blu Ray on my TV. Maybe some of you screen cap folk can help me verify.

  2. They always bought 4 pieces of each wardrobe item. 1 for the actor, 2 for the stuntman and 1 as a reserve item.

  3. I know they bought multiples of each item for costumes. Even if it’s not THE one in the photo, it’s still a big win for me. Unlike some of my other items, this timeless 100% linen piece could be worn anywhere with lots of different combinations—in spring/summer, of course.

  4. ok, it's not "THE" shirt, but you could already get a good whiff of the style while you keep chasing the real deal: https://www.ebay.com/itm/276288045176?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Gn4Kn1x9S0m&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=ELNtyJkTQ2G&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  5. Lots of Vice connections there with stars, producers, writers and director David Soul. Just great!

  6. Well, I did notice something, but I don't know how important this is to you... and I thought before maybe it's just the way the light falls down in the scene, but probably not. On his shirt (left below), the more solid stripes appear to have a lighter stripe inside of them, while yours is solid... For what it's worth I like yours better - I think that's unnecessarily ornate to break that solid stripe when you already have the other stripes built from several much thinner ones.

  7. The pattern looks the same to me. I wish the buttons were more clear as it does look like there is a color difference. Otherwise, great shirt!

  8. Unlawful Entry reminded me of Cape Fear (1991 version) which I watched many years ago so I just rewatched it. I like the movie and I think De Niro was great as the psychopath. This must be his most vicious character across all his movies I've seen. As a side note, it appears to be shot around Ft Lauderdale and at first glance is pretty tough in terms of location sleuthing.

  9. I was just reflecting your own words about the collar.

  10. The shirt has an alternating pattern stripe. Looking at @MrQuiche’s cap above closely, it appears my shirt has the other stripe on the collar than the one on Tubbs’. Like I said, though: “still a big win for me.”

  11. The girl I bought it from said she bought it from Universal—I forgot to mention above.

  12. Lucky to have encounter it randomly, i'm having really an hard time finding those old clothes especially ones that were screen-worn, so far the easiest stuff to find were the sunglasses of Crockett. For such a low price too it's really worth it and a good looking cloth

  16. Prop car was reused in my garage. 1982-1983 Dodge 400 (or possibly 1984-1985 Dodge 600). Mine is a 1982. It’s hard to tell, but this one on MV could be a coupe or sedan. I believe Gina drove a 400 sedan in an episode.

  18. If I was a size 40, not only would I buy that right now, but I'd drive there to pick it up (Sebring is maybe 3 hours away from me). Anyway, I got a new jacket but it looks/fits kinda weird. It says it's 100% linen but the way it both looks and feels reminds me more of a robe, lol. Wasn't expensive and it does fit me well, plus it's super light, but it's very casual looking (Which I guess is good if I wanna rock it with a t-shirt and slacks). Any idea how to get this thing looking sharp? Somehow I think ironing/pressing it like a traditional suit is not an option, lol. Also, I have another jacket coming in, hopefully tomorrow, that's also 100% linen, but it looks nothing like this one regarding the material. I'll report on that later.
