Are these and " Beach Walk" from DEFINTELY MIAMI.

Death Squad and Blancas kidnapping is from “Free Verse”.
Beach Walk is from “Definately Miami”.

Fyi

There is a current program dubbed " Universal Classics" that is putting out some cool stuff on INTRADA and Lalalandrecords.

Maybe someday MV?

Wasn't " Robbies Theme " reworked into " Cemetery Stake out" for DEBTS?

KINDA like " Brendas Theme " became THERESA.

Church* stakeout, but yes!

”Universal Classics” recommends all my covers on YouTube, so may be!! I really hope so.

I need to find out how to get in touch with them

I’ve always feared the MV audio tapes were destroyed in that huge fire they had awhile back. Or did someone here confirm that they were??

edit: oops it’s “NBC Classics” :D

The fire is believed to have destroyed soundtrack LP masters, NOT The original multitracks used for the broadcasts.

But, accurate info is hard to come by.

Really cool! These are most likely ripped from the 1985 Keyboard Magazine vinyl insert. Our friend @buford_t majestically shared them on YouTube with a little help from Yours Truly:

Yes, the flexible disc from KEYBOARD. I also have the " Golden Triangle/ Airport Swap one . The was unsalvagable. Fortunately, Jan did a good rerecording on MVCC.

Friend did a great transfer of " Shadow"  but it had problems too.

Thanks! I'm satisfied with the version available. It's slightly different but a pretty good ' cover version".

Does your copy have lotsa surface noise.

oh ok... I wasn't really aware of a 2004 version...

Just had a listen to it on youtube... yeah... there's just a few things off about it... it just doesn't compare to the original.

Here's another cue that would have been good for a released track of its own...

I think it was used to the most effect in "Evan", where it underscored Evan's emotionally volatile character as a man on the brink...

I also like this cue... really pared down, just a Linn  and a few Fairlight harmonies in the background...

Also, just randomly found this on youtube... somebody using a very similar drum pattern to create his own Vice-style track...

Nice!

Are those rhythm tracks pre- set? I recently bought BEVERLY HILL COP score and many of the tracks were very similar sounding to MV.
