Maybe someday MV? ”Universal Classics” recommends all my covers on YouTube, so may be!! I really hope so. I need to find out how to get in touch with them I’ve always feared the MV audio tapes were destroyed in that huge fire they had awhile back. Or did someone here confirm that they were?? edit: oops it’s “NBC Classics” Edited September 20, 2020 by Dadrian
bushido
The fire is believed to have destroyed soundtrack LP masters, NOT The original multitracks used for the broadcasts. But, accurate info is hard to come by. Bruce 17 minutes ago, Dadrian said: Church* stakeout, but yes! ”Universal Classics” recommends all my covers on YouTube, so may be!! I really hope so. I'm satisfied with the version available. It's slightly different but a pretty good ' cover version". Does your copy have lotsa surface noise. Just had a listen to it on youtube... yeah... there's just a few things off about it... it just doesn't compare to the original. Here's another cue that would have been good for a released track of its own... I think it was used to the most effect in "Evan", where it underscored Evan's emotionally volatile character as a man on the brink... I also like this cue... really pared down, just a Linn and a few Fairlight harmonies in the background... Also, just randomly found this on youtube... somebody using a very similar drum pattern to create his own Vice-style track... Nice! Are those rhythm tracks pre- set? I recently bought BEVERLY HILL COP score and many of the tracks were very similar sounding to MV. Bruce
