SonnyCrockettBurnett01
I know I've posted about this before, but the only ones I've found are $300+ (One was for $1,500). Anyone know of any pair of sunglasses that resemble Persol 69218s? It would be much appreciated.

SonnyCrockettBurnett01
So far those are the only ones I was able to find. I'd totally buy them if I had the money, but money's never been my strong suit.

Administrators James Posted April 26, 2014 Administrators Report Share Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) Rayban Wayfarer's are the closest thing I know about. They look pretty similar, just with a thicker frame. Or if you're cheap, these fake Rayban Wayfarer's are the closest I've seen to what you want. http://www.ioffer.com/i/new-wayfarer-ray-ban-2140-fashion-sunglasses-rb-2140-567759705 Only problem with them is that they're gloss, and the Persol's are matte. Maybe you can get a can of spray paint and paint over it. Edit: Or maybe Persol 2942? Edited April 27, 2014 by SL1DE
Kavinsky
One of the other members posted about an LA looks kinda sunglasses that looked very close to it, I myself was looking into raybans using the numbers on the frames of one of the ebay ads to get as close to it as possible messurement wise although the weird thing is I found the carrera knockoff glasses that I was using, the blueblockers to be more confortable than the ray bans I originally went for because they resembled the persoles but that was before I loosened the screws on the nose pieces, so it fit my face better, so I was kinda shifting from that idea to looking for some carrera like raybans, as even then the larger ones seemed to suit my face better but that aside here's what I wrote down, the LA CLUB 8252 is close to the persoles, as someone had a photo of them next to the persoles and they were quite close in look and size and the numbers I wrote down for the Persoles from the ebay ad was 140/96 left side and 58/16 on the right, male size, theres a female size up there for sale right now. although with the rayban codes that comes to 58/16 top 140/96 bottom on there website, under more details and I think the number on the right co insides with the numbers they use on the raybans, the size lense bridge, and the one on the left is the temple length and here's some of the ones that seemed close to it that I bookmarked for future reference. http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/sunglasses/RB4151-rb4151-black/805289440154 - this one being the closest by farhttp://www.ray-ban.com/usa/sunglasses/RB3508-rb3508-black/8053672065824http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/sunglasses/RB4181-rb4181-tortoise/713132452639 and heres the one I went to before this, by about 4 years before I thought of this that kinda reminded me of the persoles http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/sunglasses/RB3269-rb3269-brown/805289096955 and I found what looks to be a modernized Wayfarer that has polairzed lenses in grey http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/sunglasses/RB4179-rb4179-silver/8053672047493 but the first one looks to be the closest to them by far, plus you could use the exacto knife trick to get the rayban lettering off of the lenses, where you gentley rub them off with it and I must note that was the key thing I was looking for with my next pair of glasses, that it be polarized, and I only just found the first one now looking for a match up for the persoles and they just so happen to be polarized too. go figure lol.
