Tom
Great, thanks! Perhaps you can remember where the scene with the dead bodies next to the pool (last photo with Tubbs) was shot, as this is a location we have not been able to identify yet? thanks! MTVcops
All these pictures were taken at the Royal Palm Hotel (15 st. Collins Ave) I was there all day, Crockett & Tubbs changed outfits a few times. John Leguizamo was also there. I'll post more pictures in a minute. Tom
Ok, thanks. That's what I thought: the empty pool scene with Leguizamo as well as the covered bodies were shot at the same place as the nursery home scenes at Royal Palm. MTVcops
Pictures of Don wearing a different suit. I also remember the woman to the right kept screaming & couldn't resist so she ran up to Don then got removed from the set.
mvnyc
Excellent, I always enjoy behind the scenes shots...Just curious, what was your camera position for the episode? Also, were you part of the crew for the entire series? Edited October 2, 2014 by mvnyc

MTVcops
Excellent, I always enjoy behind the scenes shots...Just curious, what was your camera position for the episode? Also, were you part of the crew for the entire series? I wasn't part of the crew, just a teenager who grew up in Miami Beach and had the privilege of witnessing the filming of Vice.I was born in Mount Sinai which is located on 41st and Alton Road and grew up on Ocean Drive and 2nd st. Next to what was back then Penrod's On The Beach which is now Nikki Beach. I also lived at 728 Ocean Drive where they filmed Scare Face my apt was on the 1st floor. They shot the chainsaw scene on the 2nd floor
MTVcops
I also worked the Miami Vice going away party which took place at Woody's on 4th and Ocean, everyone was there even Melanie Griffith showed up her kids. Below is a picture I took of Switek with one of the Clubs bouncers, who we called Mr.T
Administrators James Posted October 3, 2014 Administrators Report Share Posted October 3, 2014 I recommend uploading the photos to a image hosting website such as www.tinypic.com whenever you want to post them in a thread. Just upload it and copy the code it provides for you.

Below is a picture I took of Switek with one of the Clubs bouncers, who we called Mr.T I went to "Woody's On The Beach" in April, 1989 while I was down here on vacation, not realizing the final wrap party was being held there. Had I known, I would've made every effort to get in...

Matt5
This one !?? Its a good find was never confirmed if this scene was filmed at The Traymore further up on Collins on that stretch or here at the Royal Palm before it was redeveloped at the back. http://www.miamiviceonline.com/index.php/gallery/image/1525-pics-10/ Edited October 3, 2014 by Matt5
