COOPER&BURNETT
This is a close up photo of my personally autographed (hand signed, not a photo copy) 8)x10 of Gregory Sierra, who appeared in the pilot, and the first 3 episodes. It's a really rare autograph as him as the L.T.. He never signed many MIAMI VICE items. This would command a fairly high price. Christian
So this might be the only one of his kind! Are you aware of the cause why he rarely signed MIAMI VICE related stuff COOP?
COOPER&BURNETT
Well, he left after doing the three episodes after the pilot. For whatever reason, he didn't wish to stay, and asked to be written off the show. I've heard all sorts of reasons, but none from anyone who was actually there. He isn't known Globally for the show (he is to us, but this is what we love), he's better known for a TV series, BARNEY MILLER, and films like THE TOWERING INFERNO, and PAPILLON with Dustin Hoffman. He's done lots, and lots of TV appearences and movies,(about 125 appearances) but after only three episodes of Miami Vice, ...he just isn't motivated to sign stuff from a show he asked to leave, ...and didn't sign much while he was there. Interestingly, he was popular amoung the cast. His wife commited suicide six years before VICE which left him feeling guilty and feelings of grief. It's just a rare signature on a rare 8x10 MIAMI VICE photo. I had to own it, as I own all of the cast's autographs as well as MICHAEL MANN on a MIAMI VICE stationary letter, and the Show's Producer at the time, RICHARD BRAMS (Richard Brams appeared as one of the two policemen that escort Callie Basset from the beach after her arrest in the episode "Definitely Miami"), a VICE episode Director, and a scriptwriter for the series.
