summer84
I like this photo of Don Johnson in his older days, so handsome and stylish. This picture reminded me of when he was Sonny Crockett back in the days. I read somewhere that he used to fix his hair many times on set on Miami Vice, to make sure it looked good. What is it with men and their hair? Edited June 9, 2016 by summer84
bluepearl
Don's mad with his hair and he still is today.Even with more private videos he always strokes here and there. The wellknown grib with pushing hair back from forehead is almost like a quirk with him.Yes, his hair became fixed from cut to cut at set with MV.No one looks that way after a ride in a convertible for example. But the result was noticable and effective. The hair is perfect all the time (but isn't that with all actors that way) and in the summary it was just the hair what caught with his appearance mostly.Look to season one especially pilot. That is not to compare to what it developed up to episode 8. Not with me - but if you ask it is always season two with the beloved haircut with Don. Your shown image is one of the best gems we could get last year. Actually it only was a joke. The hairdresser shall have mentioned (jokingly) ** Why not Season 3? **And Don shall have answered: Okay... if you can do it, hair is too long for that, nothing will become cut. And in a way yes, the hairdresser did it. This is an image which probably shows the haircut even more detailed although it is not to compare withthe surprising specialty by the photo you added summer84. One thing one may not underestimate.Unfortunately the image is badly photoshopped. It is not needed 'to iron' Don/a man in the age of 65 as hard.Nonsense decision! Because of the photoshop work the hair cut looks damn good, if not the haircut at all was the release to ps Don's face. I can not answer what is it with men and their hair but I know for sure...If a man takes much care about the perfect haircut and -care (and for that it does not need MUCH hair) he is instantlyin the center with female eyes.A bit crazy - a bit styled - a bit special... and men come easily close to an eye candy !! I so hope there will be male members who reply to this thread.

Jerry B.
Hehehe, I knew Don is mad about his hair, and it clearly shows if you look at the MV series, and actually to any picture of him, even if it's taken out of the set.On the other hand, body, face, hair, clothes, are just the tools of the trade for an actor. In his case I guess there's a bit of narcissism too, but I could forgive him: I've been that way, I used to have long hair, like in my present avatar pic from the early 90s, and I had an almost maniacal care for them. I had (and sometimes still have) that quirk of pushing my hair back, since they were long on the forehead and still today they're quite long. I have to say, my hair-mania lowered with age and the consciousness you are yourself no matter how your hair are. Now when I go to the barber I just say "Don't cut too much, pal", but I admit that a bit of that mania survived inside me ;-)

summer84
So that is how it really looks. A bit too much hair. Although Don looks good besides the haircut, the hairstyle should have been S1 my most favorite. So much info on this picture, it's great Bluepearl. Vincent Hanna
Don's starting to look a little like David Lynch with that hair.
