MTVcops
Here’s one of my favorite 80s Crockett style blazer (Episode By Hooker By Crook) The one worn by DJ has horizontal stripes, but is the exact same color and fabric as mine (Made in Italy) Edited February 17, 2019 by MTVcops

Administrators James Posted February 12, 2019 Administrators Report Share Posted February 12, 2019 Very nice find! Looks almost identical except for the lines. It's from H&M, according to the tag? Is this new or vintage?
MTVcops
That’s correct Dadrian, same designer "Gianni Versace" Edited February 12, 2019 by MTVcops

MTVcops
Hi James, the blazer is by Gianni Versace and the shirt H&M. My closet is FULL of original 80’s clothing by Armani, Versace & others which I purchased in Miami back in the day. Some from Neiman Marcus & Saks (Bal Harbour Shops) Edited February 13, 2019 by MTVcops

MTVcops
Also purchased this Versace suit back in the 80s. Exact suit can be seen worn by DJ in several episodes including “The Good Collar”

ame99
@MTVcops with regards of the versace suit and blazer used in By Hooker By Crook that you posted in this thread , can you confirm the following? I would like to get one bespoke so I want to better understand how are these type of jackets made in particular: 1)Are the 2 external pockets (where sonny puts his hands on) stitched above the outer side on the fabric or built inside? 2) are these 2 items lined? Do they have any padding on the shoulders/upper back?
TheBustedFlush
I'd be interested to hear the answer to above question, and add - What is the material composition here? You kind of wonder what a suit like that would look like on someone else. As to ame99: I think that you'd have a hard time finding a tailor who could source fabrics with those colors and sheens today. While it's definitely possible to get linen in every basic solid color, stuff like patterns is rare...
