Vincent Hanna
Tangerine Dream did some really awesome movie scores but The Keep might be their best. I love their music for Thief, Firestarter and Sorcerer too. I should warn you guys in advance there's going to be a lot of TD, Morricone, John Barry music in here .
Dadrian
A few of my favorites are: - Sabrina (1995) - John Williams - well, all John Williams’ scores... - Taxi Driver - Bernard Herrmann - Top Gun - Harold Faltermeyer - Rain Man - Hans Zimmer - Back to the Future - Alan Silvestri - Bloodsport - Paul Hertzog - Batman (1989) - Danny Elfman - Birdman - Brian Blade (literally nothing but a drum set—he’s that good)
AndrewRemington
I love John Barry’s music in “Somewhere In Time”. Very special to me as I loved that movie and my wife did as well before we even met. Both my wife’s parents and my wife and I have vacationed at Mackinac Island which is the shooting location for that movie. That music is very beautiful, it gets me misty-eyed every time. May seem like quite a transition from that score, but I also love... Anything in the Twin Peaks series - Angelo Badalamenti Blade Runner - Vangelis Rumble Fish, Wall Street, and Talk Radio - Stewart Copeland Nightmare on Elm Street - Charles Bernstein Halloween - John Carpenter Halloween III - John Carpenter & Alan Howarth Creepshow - John Harrison Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - Craig Safan Terminator 1 & 2 - Brad Fiedel Anything Friday the 13th - Harry Manfredini Beverly Hills Cop and Top Gun - Harold Faltermeyer 20 minutes ago, Dadrian said: - Batman (1989) - Danny Elfman That is a great score too, but I love Prince’s “Batman” album. It’s very underrated. It’s one of his most solid albums. Edited July 8, 2020 by AndrewRemington

RedDragon86
I really like Michael Kamen's work. His music added real tension, an seriousness to the films like The Die Hard's and Lethal Weapon's, the producers would have made a mistake if went for a more hollywood type of composer, his style contributed a lot to those franchises.

Even greater when you add Sting and Eric Clapton!
Bren10
The Thin Red Line by Hans Zimmer-His most atmospheric and perhaps his most unique score for an incredible film. Conan The Barbarian by Basil Poledouris-Absolutely awesome on all counts, which it had to be in order to make up for a lead character who barely speaks. Dune by Toto (with an assist by Brian Eno)-I'm just a Dune/Lynch fan and love Toto's 80s sound. They really nailed it here.

Mr. Vigilante
"Edward Scissorhands" - Danny Elfman "Rocky" - Bill Conti "Indiana Jones franchise" - John Williams "The Terminator/Terminator 2" - Brad Fiedel Most anything by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth Love Harold Faltermeyer as well. I'd actually choose "Fletch" as my favorite.
