RIP Patrick.I really should bust out the 1990 SNL he hosted and watch it in his honor (except I have NO idea where that tape is).

gypsy
A true gentleman has left us. My thoughts go to his wife through 34 years Lisa Niemi. That´s a big loss to lose someone you´ve known for 34 years every day. A fair actor who managed to do some great films. My personal favourit is Roadhouse. But his finest achievement in terms of acting is GHOST without a doubt. He did not have the widest range in acting history, but he really nailed that part. Sad loss. Tony D.
He was a real fighter & didn't give up his work on "The Beast" during his illness & tried to get gov. support to find a cure for cancer. My daughter is broken up over Patrick Swayze's death because she dances & looked up to him as one of the best! I never saw his films until my daughter had me burn "Ghost" "Dirty Dancing" & some other of his dance movies for her, a few months ago. I saw "Grease" on Broadway when it came out & just found out he was in it. May he be happy in Heaven. We're sad!
