I stayed there a few days in 1991. Interesting to see that first photo. Humble was the precursor to Exxon Oil. It was one of the many companies created with the breakup of the Standard Oil monopoly in 1911. Humble was acquired by Exxon, or Standard Oil of New Jersey. It eventually merged with Mobil Oil which was originally Standard Oil of New York. Standard Oil of California became Chevron, and there were many others. Gulf Oil was a separate company, one of the original seven sisters, including Royal Dutch Shell, British Petroleum BP, Union Oil, and Texaco (Texas Oil Company), plus the above mentioned companies.
Tom
another great picture of the Dennis Jenkins Associates office interior that was used for the National Inquisitor office (they filmed in front of the wall in the background with the pictures on it. Matt5
A nice late 1970s of Haulover Beach / Haulover Inlet just south of the old pier. Crockett walked along the higher section of the graffiti - colored wall (centre picture) with Freemont and Wiggins in “LA”. The camera was looking north but here south. I remember hearing stories about that being a "topless beach." Don't remember seeing evidence of that when I was a kid.

Tom
NEW LOCATION: Jerry in disco. Most likely I have found the last unknown "snippet" location of this episode. During the "Dirty Laudry" Montage we see some recycled scenes from Club Pizazz that was used in Better living through chemistry. @C Glidementioned on his location site for this episode that some scenes where Jerry milks some intel in a disco was unknown and probably NOT filmed in Pizazz. http://www.miamivicelocations4.org/page18.html He was right. The Jerry in disco scenes were neither filmed in Pizzazz, nor in Club Deuce or JJs on Sunset Drive. This can easily be determined by the WHITE guiderails throughout that disco. Pizzazz has grey/silver guiderails (see below), JJs and Club Deuce have none like this at all. When looking at the other locations of this episode (we know all of them), it is obvious that this must be a location close for this small snippets and a new one that VICE has not used so far. I found a hot candidate: "Studabaker´s" club inside the Town and Country Mall in Kendall (mall used in Down for the count 2). This was a cool club that was opened in late 1986 in Kendall (the first "outlet" was in Lauderdale near the Pizzazz club before it expanded to Kendall. Three big matches: the white rounded guiderails the same color scheme (red, green, blue) and also glass block bricks the proximity to Crockett´s house in Kendall and other locations used in South Miami (National Inquisitor office, JJs) See my comparison below with an old Wolfson Archives film on youtube. I would say it´s a 90+% fit. That was really the last location of this episode Edited October 13, 2021 by Tom
Tom
Google Streetview has new frontal high res pics of Crockett´s house. Mind the significant two walls, one in front of the house, one curved one in the middle between the street and the house. Click to enlarge. airtommy
During the "Dirty Laundry" montage, we see Phil's Disco. It doesn't look at all like Miami. This is stock footage from the 1970s TV show "B.J. and the Bear". On the show B.J.'s company headquarters are located over Phil's Disco in Hollywood, California. http://tviv.org/B.J._and_the_Bear/B.J._McKay You can see it around 0:48 of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCQZFEKKf4U To me, the signs look extremely fake. The only question is if they constructed this in the Universal Studios backlot or on a real Los Angeles street.

I am working on the 10 big locations left, eg the infamous Ballard house.
Matt5
Nice comparison shot of Collins Ave at 19th St in Miami Beach seen looking north. We see this area a lot during Season 1 and 2 but not really all these buildings in one shot. Edited September 7, 2022 by Matt5
Matt5
During the Los Angeles montage during the teaser we see a shot of Venice Beach & Ocean Walk Avenue at 1600 / Windward Avenue looking Nw. I’m pretty sure this was the exact spot used from the stock footage.
