Matt5
This is also very nice showing a walk along the Christiansted wooden boardwalk seen in "Calderone's Demise" - very nice indeed whilst I was researching Christiansted and St Croix generally. This video is particularly good though as it shows the angle we see in the episode in the opening credits looking towards the landmark tower. Sure - Just after the beginning showing when it heads to the water tower that was where the boat dock( yellow gated) is where C&T make landfall in the opening credits Edited July 15, 2017 by Matt5

Sorry my friend I reread your answer and edited it before I saw your reply (see my previous post) but yes in the pics :- 1. Shows the angle of the boat dock when C&T make landfall in St Andrews Island as I mentioned 2. The car chase in the town and to clarify the video shows the area pretty much covered by picture 1 in detail just via video Edited July 15, 2017 by Matt5

Matt5
This was sent to me Today as we saw this location in “Calderone’s Demise/ Return (Pt 2) “- the St.Croix, Christiansted boardwalk at sunset. I’ve cleared up the image and edited slightly.

Matt5
This was sent to me Today some pictures —Christiansted, St Croix, US Virgin Islands. These landmarks were featured heavily in this fall 1984 episode featuring the iconic Tina Turner song “What’s love got to do with it” from the same year. 10\10 Edited May 25, 2023 by Matt5
Matt5
These were sent to me Today - the scene with Tubbs meeting Angelina for the first time from the Fall of 1984– Davis Bay Beach, otherwise known as Carambola Beach.
Tom
UNKNOWN LOCATION: the hotel bar with pool When C&T land in "St .Andrews" they immediately turn right (cut) and then get into a hotel with bar and pool. Comparing the landing scene and the mountain pattern in the background of both scenes, it becomes clear that the same part of mountainline is shown from the same angle. As the hotel bar with pool is directly at the sea and the boardwalk, it is clear that this hotel is gone now. There is simply no pool at this spot, neither on today´s aerial, nor on CGlide´s one frpm the early 2010s (no historic aerial of 1980s available. The same iron gate in both scenes give proof that the hotel bar is exact at the same location and they did not magocally jump to a different place after the cut when C&T turn around the corner from the boardwalk. The King´s Alley hotel -as speculated earlier - can be ruled out, as it is too far away from the sea (second block off) to be it. See photo proof below. Tom
LOCATION FOUND: CROCKETT MEETS CALDERONE´S GOFER AS MILLER Christian "SHAN" Hendricks Market Place at Company Street, Christiansted This is a market from the late 1700s for street vendors.https://www.wtjx.org/sarah-addie/about-sarah-addie/ Crockett stood beneath the market stall that is still there. The background building behind Crockett and Calderone´s man is 52 Company Street (today green). The neighbor building behind Crockett is still there. Behind Calderone´s man they build a new post office building that blocks view to the green mountain in the background that helped me to triangulate this location quite fast. ENJOY!
Tom
UNKNOWN LOCATION: ANGELINA´s place/school I thought this is an easy one, but it ain´t. I´ve been trying to find this for a few days now and I got stuck. Evidence (see pics below): this scene was filmed at St. Croix and not in Miami like the beach party, because the first camera panning down in that scene shows a steep hill with lots trees and several thick complete stone walls,. There is no hill in Florida, let alone the stone walls Angelina´s shadow shows that this was filmed at noon (in August), with the sun nearly coming in at a 90 degree angle above her head. At deeper scrutiny of the shadow we can see the sun is positioned behind Angelina´s though, so behind Angelina must be south. Tubbs (where she is heading to) is really standing at the same location (part of the wall visible) and he is positioned near the open sea (sea is visible in background and approx. around 150 feet away), this means that this scene must have been filmed at a north shore -or part of shore heading north - of St. Croix at a big stone wall kind of fort at a steep wooden hill next to the sea. The catch: there is no such place on the island. There are some old mills or forts, but either off the coast inland or without any hill/stone walls, just ruins or partial remains of a wall. Maybe some of you @daytona365 @Paul Veres@airtommyhave an idea that I overlooked? P.S: (last 4 pics) Angelina´s place seems to be on the island too, given the hill background in the bedroom scene. The interior wall is of stone as well and the house has a round door with lots of conches on it. That could be the house with the stone walls (same location?). The establishing shot with the helicopter shot is NOT St. Croix (there is no such place with that road and house pattern on a cliff anywhere on the island), but an archive footage from the US east coast. The vegetation is not tropical, but rather looks like new England Edited July 7, 2023 by Tom

Tom
I found a potential villa near Carambola beach (where Tubbs met Angelina) for the interior and the school/stone wall scenes. PRO: stone walls and stairs with guiderails, wooden hill, bedrooms with interior stone walls with similar wooden hill background, a round entrance door (but no conches!) CON: not exact the same stone walls. Not directly at the water. Tom
vor einer Stunde schrieb daytona365: yeah, see photo proof below, in particular the tiles on the bar counter That’s a good find! But then the Kings Alley hotel was relocated after the 80s which is very unusual. I referred to the current address of the hotel and it’s clearly at Church Street/King Street, one block off the harbor. And todays King Christian hotel is not the exact place that we see on TV but a bit more east of the original location. See map. PS if you are in good location finding mood please find Angelina‘s house/school as well

But that island is full of scattered ruins from old sugar mills. Nothing fitting yet however. The intact hand rail on the stairs behind Angelina tells me though that this site was not fully abandonned, and these steps were intended to be used regularly. These were neat and nice walls (at least two onto that wooden hill), most probably rather part of a mill built into a home than a mill partly in ruins. My gut feeling says the interior scenes were filmed there too. And given the sun position and the sea close behind Tubbs only locations on the north side of the island, close to sea and on a steep wooden hill will fit. That rules out most stone mills. My gut feeling says the interior scenes were filmed there too. my gut feeling makes me start wondering if the "house" was a real house at all or if this was maybe filmed in a studio. There's a few things that don't add up, like for example, Angelina's house must have the most flimsy door I've ever seen. There is no lock mechanism whatsoever at all, she opens the door by simply pulling what looks like a vertically mounted drawer handle. You can see through the gap between the door and the doorjamb and there is nothing that would help to keep this door shut. Also, the right upper curve of the door is cut out very uneven and not aligned with the doorjamb: Then, the doorjamb simply transitions into what is supposed to be a wall built of solid rock and plaster, and for that it's rather thin. The bedroom window looks like there's no glas in it and I don't see any mountains in the background as stated by you, just a uniform gray:
