Richie Rich
For those who want to make their own "Crockett Vice ID Card", for Halloween and Costume parties and such. Also a blank version if you want one with your own name and picture. I guess this one defeats the purpose of the ID card, however, as it spoils the fun of pulling out the badge and ID as your way of answering the question "Who are you supposed to be?"Crockett Vice ID cardhttp://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=miamiviceidcardcrockettiq3.jpgBlank Vice ID cardhttp://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=miamiviceidcardbluekk1.jpg

Richie Rich
thanks for the post' date=' rich. this is great. [/quote']You are welcome. The one you pictured looks fine to carry in your pocket, but could not be hung around the neck. Depends on how much $ you intend to spend. I have not decided what to purchase yet, except for the photo ID card with my own photo. I may get the rest, to have the complete "badge and card" for a Halloween outfit, as I already have all the clothing and shoe items needed for the outfit. Richie Rich
could you post the link to the one for the neck? This one should work:http://www.nles.com/store/catalog/Pointed_Oval_Badge_Backer-p-13.htmlSeems compatible with the "Sergeant" badge linked above, allows clipping to your belt also. COOPER&BURNETT
The badge wallets that Crockett and Tubbs use seem to have a blueish background behind the badge itself. Where can I get one of these? Is there a place to get the exact type? Also, what's the name for the sherriff on the I.D. used in the show? COOPER&BURNETT
Almost looks like the Sherriff's name is Robby or something. Can't make out the cursive.

jcm8002204
A couple of items to note about the ID/Badge Holder (probably NOT a Badge WALLET):-Note the Diagonal Pattern on the fabric in the crease-The reinforcement stitching on the inside edge of the recessed badge cut-out-Squared Off Corners-Very tight recessed badge contours (probably a high-quality badge mfgr) = precise dimensional die tooling for recessed cutouts-Note indentation caused by Crockett's right thumb pressing on the back of the case, probably only a BI-Fold, not TRI-fold-Does not appear to have a ID Window protection leather 'flap' (or hidden, possibly UNDER ID)Need to watch this scene from PayBack on DVD freeze / Frame-BY-Frame to see more info....comments only based on the still provided..The Sheriff's signature looks like Robby Fahr...does anyone have Tubb's ID to compare ? COOPER&BURNETT
It could have been made by the company called STRONG that makes these wallets.
jcm8002204
The two big players (actual mfgrs) seem to be Perfect Fit and Strong Leather. The two big players (actual mfgrs) of REAL badges appear to be Smith & Warren (not Wesson)(est. 1925 with lineage back to 1890's) , and the V.H. Blackinton 'Blackington' company (circa 1852)...Strong has an interesting link as to their features:http://www.pcxhost.com/store/st7/tp8/support/custom.jsp?id=1032&unique=1235190145316&sid=2F859B03896C1964EBA52825B92507703D78A2C6More info that probably needed but the details are what counts... COOPER&BURNETT
Has anyone found the exact type of wallet that was used on the show (a sort of blue background behind the badge) It's not the cloth protective flap found in some badge holders. It's more of a blue leather or fabric.I just can't find one just like Crocketts.Anyone found one?
