Kavinsky
This horrible guy is worse than any of Crockett & Tubbs' villans. Trial tomorrow and when the guilty verdict is given......hang him at midnight the next daypeople like him just make me sick, I mean way to ruin a good day everyones been waiting for for about 4 years now you jackass and then now because of him we have to deal with the parasites who are leaching onto this for there own political gains, ways and means for the upcoming election.and I really feel bad for poor Christopher Noland and the cast and crew of the film, they do there best to make a good superhero movie and now this happens after the whole deal with Heath Ledger.man I hope they do there best to distance themselves from this and not let it get to them, you just dont know what someone might do these days out of the blue, theres no one to blame besides the person responsibile as no one could forsee this happening on what was supposed to be a joyous day for all involved. Kavinsky
welcome to the true reality of gun culture and the need for asault weapons in the hands of lunaticsthe thing that gets me is the fact that he dressed/cossplayed up from the sound of it (and from what I've heard) like Bane from the movie and duped these people into thinking it was part of the show so by the time they knew it wasnt it was too late to stop him at this midnight showing.and well with all of the press and everything else that was going on about this film with the advanced tickets and all that build up to this why wasnt there armed security around or atleast a cop appointed around the corner to keep the peace if someone got unruly between 12 to 2 am?I mean this is the kind of film teenagers and adults are going to be flocking to so that wouldnt have been an unwise precaution I dont know the whole thing makes me sick to my stomach and I hope he hangs for his crimes. hell I kinda wonder if the did this is part of some other motive of his to make some political statment or something, or its another idiot with a god complex? I dont know theres no really good way to really prevent this kind of stuff from happening even with gun banning, all that can really be done is to have an armed police man around the corner to level the playing field or a good guy with a CCW permit who could have stopped him before he caused any more damage.as anyone with evil intentions will find a way to carry them out one way or another as they dont care about the laws as there not in the right mind or a law abiding citizen with a good heart to begin with be the tool used to commit the said crime being a gun, a molitiov cocktail, Gassoline, kitchen knife, sledgehammer, rocks, anything really, it could have easily been him trying to mow them down with his car toothey will find a way, its always a given and that thought truely makes me sick as your always at the mercy of another persons will the second you walk out that door in the morning, its just a sad fact of life, all you can really do is stay out of the bad areas and hope nothing bad will cross your path and sometimes it just happens. Tony D.
There were some police in the parking lot for crowd control but he came in shooting 30 minutes into the movie, by a rear or side exit. He told police he was The Joker.....seems he wanted his 15 mim. of fame.Gov. Huckabee said on his program he will not show pictures of this guy or give his name, so as not to encourage copycat fame seekers. He had a clean record so he got guns legally but where did he get teargas & explosives? CarolineUK
Absolutely sickening. My thoughts go out to the families of those who died while enjoying themselves seeing the movie. I doubt the moron will get what he deserves because he will be deemed to be insane grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
Administrators Ferrariman Posted July 21, 2012 Administrators Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 He told police he was The Joker.....seems he wanted his 15 mim. of fame. And thanks to the media he will definitely get his time in the spotlight ad nauseum. This stuff pisses me off in more ways than one. A tragedy? definitely! Now let's go way overboard and post police at every movie theater showing the movie. I even heard that theaters were all pulling trailers for an upcoming movie that shows people being shot in a movie theater. Really?! Are we, as a society, that weak & ignorant that we can't tell the difference? Is someone going to see that trailer and have nightmares? Please! It's things like this that contributes to (as I like to call it) the wussification of America. Government and industry have coddled us so much that we're turning into a country full of sissys. Everyone is so afraid that we may offend somebody else that it makes me sick. My newspaper today actually gave tips for safely going to the movies!! Are you kidding me? Please, tell me exactly what is safe? As Kavinsky said, it's a sad fact that anyone can be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but what do you do? It's called terrorism and you have 2 choices. Be aware, be alert and live your life, or hide in fear. I choose the former.

One example is a lot of local Governments, years ago, started removing play equipment from parks because occasionally a child would fall or slip and sprain or break something:birdie:. We call it the "nanny state". Thinking they can protect everyone, from themselves. When our socialist Government recently introduced higher tobacco taxes most non smokers said that was good. They say sales have reduces by a few percent but fail to mention the sale of illegal cigaretts has boomed. Now they are listening to the "do gooders" and looking at higher taxes for alcohol and fast food. Added to this we have a few hundred illegal/economic refugees being taken in by this Government every week now. They get housed with all medical and dental needs taken care of while our own citizens, especially our elderly are living below the poverty line and waiting years for basic medical and dental proceedures. I could keep going on but from what you have said the same things are happening in the USA. Yes, here in Australia now, the majority suffers for the action of the minority. We have become so obsessed with not wanting to offend any other race, religion or minority group that we have ended up just offending ourselves.Sorry for my rant but this type of socialist crap really pisses me off. Now, it looks like we might have to go through metal detectors, have clothes, purses, and persons searched at movie theaters. No more fans in costumes wearing masks and holding props. (thank God the Star Wars movies have all been shown, as now, fans may not be able to have fun and dress as thier favorite character standing in line, and in the theater. Now, it's just a happy memory of the past.)Every time one of these nuts does something so sick, and vile as this, more of our freedoms die along with the victims. The same is happening here and in Canada as well. COOPER&BURNETT
This flag is flying at half mass (It should correctly read, "half staff", not half mass) in honor of the 12 people who were murdered, and the 59 wonded by the sick gunman at the movie theater. A nice elderly couple live here.My neighbors have class.
Administrators Ferrariman Posted July 23, 2012 Administrators Report Share Posted July 23, 2012 A nice gesture. Not to nitpick but just for the record the flag is at half staff. Half mast would be on a ship.

Yep, your correct. I posted about a dozen pictures in the COOP'S HOME photos, and this was one of them, and I'm posting, and writing too fast. This usually happens when I type too fast. Something is spelled wrong.I'll keep it the way I wrote it, otherwise, your above message won't make sense. :DThanks for the correction!
