I know some don't like Danielle, maybe that's what the writers and director intended, like we are observing her in same way Tubbs did. I think the actress who played her was perfect in her performance.  

She was a manipulator and she had his number. Tubbs saw it. Sonny didn't figure it out until it was almost too late.

Still loved this scene, though. 

I really liked the chemistry between them. Until it turned out Danielle was bad and wanted to kill him. Crockett didn't have luck with most of the women, he should have just stuck with Gina. He was the only guy, she slept with who she didn't shoot. She really did love him.

I also meant to add that I agree with you, RedDagon86. This actress played a cold, calculating killer very well! 

She definitely had his number!
