dchan
How did this game got so screwed up? Did somebody accidentaly spilt beer on the computers at Rockstar? (Please let me know if this post came through.)It was a crappy port to PS2 of a game that was meant to be played on the PSP only. Was Rockstar really going to spend that much time or effort on a game they were charging only $20 for? In retrospect, obviously not.
MV86
mV86' date=' are we talking about you driving in the game or in real life? [/quote']Driving in the game,I'm not that crazy on the acutal road:D:D
gstien
The new game was supposed to keep "cloning" from happening. I've noticed that too in VCS. It's not as fun without the traffic, especially when you are being chased by the cops.Shill, I know how you feel. That's a credit to the designers I say.I like to visit VC from time to time, for old times sake. Also, I never really gathered up all the secret packages.I'll play it from time to time to hunt for them, ride around, and listen to the radio. agent 47
Vice City StoriesThe story's good but the game's emptier than a drive-in flea market on Tuesday.

(which was good, on a Carlito's Way:Rise To Power scale.) But Liberty City Stories was good on psp, but (bleeping) awesome on PS2, it's my second favorite GTA, right after the king: Vice City! Tommy Vercetti
There was a missed opportunity for a Blue Velvet reference in Vice City. When Steve Scott first sees Tommy in the porno mission cut scenes he should've said "Who is this f*ck?" echoing Frank Booth greeting MacLachlan. And Tommy beats down a pedestrain it would've been cool if he said "Everybody's gotta take a beating sometime" like Ray Liotta says in Goodfellas
agent 47
It's weird, they never dropped th f-bomb once during the game, yet San Andreas, it's practically the games national word. (A little off topic, anybody ever played The Godfather:The Game yet? it's f...ing awesome!)
Shill
I'd like San Andreas on the psp. I can still dream.....
agent 47
Why the hell there hasn't been a new psp game yet?! Rockstar, wake up! You ignore loyal playstationers and put yor next GTA on the DS?!! How about Grand Theft Auto 4 Stories or something for us who don't want to buy another system or can't afford a new PS3 or X-BOX 360 or can't afford to upgrade up the yin-yang our PC's? And where is.... San Andreas Stories?!! How can you say no to those pictures that Shill has?! (if you're not in love by now, you're not sane) We'll settle for Los Santos Stories or Las Venturas Adventures or something.

In Vice City Stories there's a lots of Fs.Why the hell there hasn't been a new psp game yet?! Rockstar' date=' wake up! The only game that juuusst goes there is Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. About time we get a decent (hopefully) American game for DS.But Rockstar should please PSP owners (I wish I had one, just for Miami Vice the Game. Saw it in a shop the other day and almost screamed, I didn't think we had it) by releasing a new one.
agent 47
This a tad off topic, has anybody noticed the mission for Joey in GTA3 where you steal the armored car sorta is a homage to Heat? I really payed homage to the movie by using a semi truck I stole from the docks to do the mission, anybody else pays homage to films or tv in a weird way on this game? (or other GTAs)

gstien
That shows the depth of research they put into VC.
agent 47
I never noticed that, confound me for not! (pay attention, 47!) But there is another reference, notice that there is characters named RICARDO Diaz and SONNY Forelli? Also note the failed deal at the beginning, notice the similarities to Indian Wars opening teaser? Also on Vice City Stories, they have the track "Renegades of Funk" used in EP #17:The Maze. (Notice the tons of references to that episode?) Also the mission Guardian Angels also has Haitans on dirtbikes, just like in the teaser of Tale of the Goat. Gina_Calabrese
http://i42.tinypic.com/2mpivjd.jpg:)Now, I know this post is a rather old post, but...Is there any chance I could get that Testarossa for my game? Has it been uploaded anywhere?Very cool!
Tommy Vercetti
The Cubans in the game wear the same T shirt as the guy in the scene with Tubbs in the airport in Brother's Keeper. Now that's what I call attention to detail
agent 47
One thing I notice on the back of the box of the game is that they say there are swamps in the game with "from the swamps to the ghettos", there is no swamps in the game, wouldn't it have been cool though, them having swamps, like the glades? Picture this: Airboat chase!

agent 47
Has anybody ever noticed that the plan that Pastor Richards boasts about on VCPR sounds similar to Hugo drax's plan to run his own group of people from space in Moonraker? agent 47
I was just checking gamestop.com pre-orders (magazines are unrelable nowadays) and now they are releasing a Liberty City Stories/ Vice City Stories bundle for the Playstation 2 on the 9th of June. Scot from S.C.
I still play "Vice City" and "Scarface" on my PS2 a lot, but I keep wishing that one day Rockstar will release a "Vice City" for the PS3. By the way, if you love "Vice City" on the PS2, do yourself a favor and get "Scarface" for it as well. You can find it brand new at Wally World for $20 bucks. It is a great game, and it is set, of course, in the eighties in Miami. Plus you have lots of great eighties songs you can jam to as you drive around and rebuild your lost empire. agent 47
Scarface is a great game, at first I found it hard but that's because it's different from Vice City, the only thing I don't get is the soundtrack, they have 80's music and the original music from the movie but then they add hard rock, rap and hip-hop, and reggaeton, it kinda blows the authenticity a little just for the sake of commercialization.
