I am watching Childs Play and can see why Crockett forgot who he was post-Hackman.

The amount of stress he endured in this season is just monumental.

Reminds me of the very first alarm bell: Brothers Keeper, on the boat with Gina:

Gina: "Do you ever forget who you are?"

Crockett: *Empathic Laugh* FORGET Who I am? Darlin', sometimes I REMEMBER who I am.

Then of course Heart Of Darkness with the tragic ending of Artie killing himself - he was effectively Artie who has just managed to survive so far!
