Don Johnson sues over 'Nash Bridges'

They didn't give him his share? Was it in his contract in the first place? What's with this thing about him not allowed to develop the show as web videos,HE IS NASH BRIDGES!!! If they cheated him, I hope they pay dearly for that, if not, Don, read a contract! I hope this doesn't affect upcoming DVD releases of the show!:eek:

According to the complaint, at the time that the show aired, it was unheard of for actors to receive a copyright interest in their shows. Nonetheless, Johnson negotiated a "groundbreaking contract" that gave him half the copyright for the series and 50 percent of the syndication profits. Johnson had hired Kirkland & Ellis white collar specialist Mark Holsher and IP partner Robert Krupka to file a breach of contract case over the show.

Well, he was a producer on the show (hence the "DJ Company" cube at the end of the eps), so that means he should own a piece. As for how much, that I don't know.

This story about Don suing for rights of "Nash Bridges" loyalties seems to be picking up steam on Google alone there are near 300 seperate news stories on it.
