mirrorimageegamirorrim
Sonny did this to Gina in the pilot and a similar scene later appeared in the movie "Top Gun". Are there any more examples of this you can think of from the 80s?
Administrators James Posted August 25, 2014 Administrators Report Share Posted August 25, 2014 Everything was more relaxed back then, I guess. These days everyone talks about it like it's some forbidden thing to do and it'll be sexual harassment or something ridiculous like that.I hate the 21st century... Matt5
Good points - it worked well in MV in the Pilot when Sonny went in with Gina
Stinger390X
Men used to go into the ladies all the time in the eighties. In fact women used to go into the mens when the ladies were lined up out the door. I remember clubbing in Niagara Falls NY in the 80's. I was in my 20's and this happened often. Coke was always being used and smoking dubes, but I personally did neither. It was a personal choice as I remained "real" and did not do the drug scene.I was no saint as I chased the ladies, but the drugs I refrained from. Witnessed it a lot though........................................... At our local strip club the girls used to walk into the mens while you were doing your business just to use the mirror! mirrorimageegamirorrim
Thanks to everyone who replied to this question. I guess I'm showing my relative youth here (I'm 38) because this is news to me; I had no idea that men and women used each other's restrooms like that in the past. Like you guys, I hate PC nonsense. I wish we still lived in a time where people weren't so sensitive. For example, to call somebody a "racist" in 2014 is the worst insult you could possibly use against them. Think about that for a second. People will do anything to avoid being called a racist. I'm not condoning racism but when there are so many evil, sick things one person can do to another (murder, rape, torture, child molestation, etc.) how did we ever get so fixated on what amounts to nothing more than a individual's private state of mind like racism? Our society has gotten incredibly petty, and I mean with a capital P. See the situatiion with the LA Clippers and what that escalated into. cageyJG
Hi Mirror Image, nice to meet you. I remember one of my birthday parties in the 80s. I walked into the ladies' room at a Burger King. WHOOPS. I was maybe 10 or 11? The women thought it was funny, I thought it was the end of my life. Speaking of PC, I have a good site to recommend: http://www.returnofkings.com/ Check it out. I'm with you. Where to even start?
