Always thought  "Addicted to Love" by the late Robert Palmer would have been perfect  in "Nobody Lives Forever"

Agreed! That whole album is great. I love the cover, too. Great photo. I have the vinyl and spin it often.

Mike & The Mechanics - Silent running.

You are now @MTVcops friend :)

Basically, anything on that album could’ve worked somewhere in the show.

Billy Idol - Eyes Without A Face

They liked Billy Idol and used his songs twice - but I do like this one.

From the movie Planes, Trains & Automobiles -

Awesome synth ballad from 1985, could have been great somewhere in S1 and S2... cue Crockett cruising Miami Beach alone in the Daytona at night thinking about a case...

Kind of a very pleasant cross between Mike and the Mechanics' "Par Avion" and some of Jan Hammer's more moody stuff :radio:

Wow, I just googled the lyrics to this song. Very powerful!!! And I do hear a  background similar to  "Par Avion"! Perfect MV!! Great find! Thanks for posting this.

5 out of 9 songs of Peter Gabriel’s “So” album appeared on the show. 4 of those in 10 episodes in the first part of Season 3.

“That Voice Again” and “In Your Eyes” would also have worked very well on the show. Surely no other album had 5 songs used?

The album was even mentioned by the decoder dude in “Down for the Count pt 2”.

Could have been a great song for one of the darker S3 episodes, although technically it wasn't released until 1988.

Psyche are an originally Canadian Dark Wave/Goth band that became a hot ticket in those circles in the late 80s and early 90s, mainly in Europe.
