You may notice that harmonica tone sounds just like Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got To Do With It”.
AndrewRemington
You may notice the bass and drums sounds a lot like “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”, but this song came out before it in 1983. Actually, Grand Funk Railroad’s “Some Kind Of Wonderful” bass and drum are very similar too and that came out in 1974. Anyway, I think this song would work well in Vice! It has a very fresh, timeless sound to it. (Special note: “Waterfront” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” are two of my absolute favorite songs of all time.) And Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” is the same again, but he was late to the party in 1987.

I was listening to this the other day and thought I needed to post it in this thread, but I forgot to. This song should’ve been a bigger hit. So great. Only thing: I can’t think of a scene/episode that works with the lyrics.

From Evans perspective towards Sonny - I got it bad You don't know how bad I got it You got it easy You don't know when you've got it good It's getting harder Just keeping life and soul together I'm sick of fighting Even though I know I should The cold is biting.......... Good one! The lyrics definitely fit, but the music may not be dark enough for the episode.
AndrewRemington
“Wouldn’t It Be Good” is a great song. Perhaps it would work in “Little Prince”? The perfect song for an “uptown junkie”.
AndrewRemington
One of the greatest songs of all time. Everything is sheer perfection with this song. I think this could work in “Definitely Miami” where Sonny is looking at Callie. Or maybe a scene with lots of girls in bikinis?

AndrewRemington
This is a Glenn Frey top 40 track from 1984, so you know it belongs in Miami Vice!

AndrewRemington
This one came out in 1986, I think it goes well with the style of Season 3. Perhaps they could have used in “Theresa”?
RedDragon86
This would have been be perfect in "Shadow in the Dark" shame it was released 1988. Has that Manhunter feel. Edited July 6, 2020 by RedDragon86
