I see there's a private one and a public one.

I hope for their sake, they keep good user controls in them.  Facebook taught me how many creepazoids are running around out there!  The old battles we had on the old vice site were just an introduction.

I think the private one is the one he's talking about, the other "Vice Lounge Online" is some sort of online casino thing. https://www.facebook.com/groups/MiamiViceLounge

I'm not much of a group guy myself, unless I already know some people in the group. Because as you said - creepazoids. So I'm not sure if I will join that group as there are a lot of randoms in there, and a Facebook profile is sort of a personal thing these days even though I don't use my actual full surname.

Is that the Group stylised as "VICE Lounge"?

Would've been helpful if you posted the link. :p

I did post a link at first, James but when I clicked on it ......not only was the vice lounge shown but all my personal e-mails.  That's why I edited this Topic a few times. I don't know the actual web address.

Hi James (and all),

James, are you from the old guard, or maybe someone I didn't meet before?

Regrettably, I've been out of the mix for a long time and I don't remember the headshed.

Thank you for understanding my sentiment above.  I have some stories from the days of the ancients of mv.org that are quite eye-opening.  I don't know why it popped in my mind, but I prefer fora like this to social media, and that probably makes me a relic.

Hoping I can jump back in the right place,  where to start.

I'm fairly new to the site, I think I only signed up in 2013, and I went by the username "SL1DE" for a while. When the site went down at the end of 2014 due to a server failure, I offered to fix it and upload the backup, so that's the story of how I became an Administrator and "resident computer wizard", after becoming admin I decided to change my username to James to be more professional.

Anything else you would like to know? :p
