Daytona74
His movies were always a fun way to spend a Saturday night in front of the TV when I was a kid. RIP.

Tommy Vercetti
I think White Lightning is one of his best https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmvDNAV7itA Can't forget he also voiced Avery Carrington in Vice City https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjFRUDdUba4 I never would have guessed Burt would've been the first of the four Deliverance guys to go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9LVRHigxiE Edited September 8, 2018 by Tommy Vercetti
agent 47
Very sad. A true screen legend with a large and entertaining filmography and owned the screen back in the seventies and eighties particularly when Hal Needham was involved. Always brought charm and sometimes a sense of humor to the screen (and in the case of GTA: Vice City, to the world of videogames) even in lesser films. Never stopped working either and was due to shoot with Tarantino on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in a few weeks. So many good movies to cite but one of my favorite movies of his as a kid was a movie called "Stick". Fairly underrated and hard to find Florida-set action movie based on a very solid novel by Elmore Leonard. And of course, Vice City. His performance as Avery Carrington was truly top notch. Someone took his Shady Acres radio ad from the game and made a TV advert out of it for a mod. R.I.P., Burt.

miamijimf
A real loss. But we can take some comfort in what he said, " No one had more fun than I did."

Tommy Vercetti
It's sad to say that Burt is one of the last of a dying breed. There aren't too many guys like him anymore. Edited October 9, 2019 by Tommy Vercetti
