Stinger390X Posted November 4, 2018 Report Share Posted November 4, 2018 It's a shame about this situation as it could have been avoided if the engineers that made the canals from Okeechobee had not run all the agricultural poisons into the Gulf and the Atlantic sides years ago. They are going to have to re-think this situation and even the Sugar industry was going to give up a bit of their land south of Lake O", but reneged at the last minute. If this floodplane was available again it would highly alleviate the problem, but I guess we need sugar? Or is it the Sugar industry needs profit? I always get those two mixed up...
