BunMVO Posted March 14, 2019 Report Share Posted March 14, 2019 Hey guys, I hate to blow up the fashion forum too much but it really does fascinate me. I know I'm not the only one. Indulging in cool clothes is my guilty pleasure. I've been looking around for quite some time for any information on this blazer which Sonny wears in a number of S1 episodes. From what I've gathered: It's probably raw silk It probably retailed for over a thousand dollars (obviously) It is most likely designed by Gianni Versace or another high-fashion Italian designer It appears to be unlined or only partially lined That's about it. Pretty vague. I know a lot of stuff like this is super hard to find. Here are some pics. I've come to the realization that is probably my second-favorite jacket in the show (the iconic white one can't be beaten) and one of my favorite combos. I have searched high and low for such an item. There is a Zegna blazer that is somewhat similar, however it is mostly linen, partly wool and partly silk and it is fully lined. Also, it's bidding at over $100 now, so I'm not sure I want to pull the trigger on it. Any other fashion experts that would know how or where to find something like this? The only thing that has been sort of helpful is searching for "space dye". New Look has a space-dye blazer in a somewhat similar color, but it's purely synthetic fibers and fully lined, which indicates poor quality and would be hotter than hell to wear. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is fully lined, so that is a problem, but I may see if a tailor can remove some of the lining if possible. It seems like the shoulders are heavily padded and the chest is taken in, creating kind of a formal look. Other than that, it’s beautiful. The fit was less billowy than a lot of those he went on to wear after season 1.
