Marco Falcone Posted June 28, 2019 Report Share Posted June 28, 2019 Hey all! Just back from 2 weeks in Italy and realized I lost my late 90’s polarized Tortoise Wayfarers. They were the newer frame with the writing in the temple but still the lighter brown tortoise that I had polarized lenses put into. (Sad, I know. But also a chance to replace with the real-deal 5022’s!) My questions: 1. Were the 5022’a ever made with polarized lenses? 2. MichaelAce Posted July 1, 2019 Report Share Posted July 1, 2019 I don't think the 5022 were made with polarized lenses, it's a new thing brought in option by Luxottica and on eBay, I got a pair of 5022 that looked great on the pictures but the temples were very loose and I couldn't fix it without breaking a screw that I cannot replace without a driller or something So, you gotta ask a lot of questions before buying even if the pictures look good Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
