RentTheViceCar
All I recently fulfilled a dream of mine and bought a McBurnie Daytona Replica. I am in the process of restoring it to showcar status, and want to thank the board here for the tremendous information and help I have gotten from everyone. Thank you so much! My goal is to make it about 80% screen accurate, as there are some personal items I just like on the car (door panels, round headlights, etc). But mostly I will be drawing from car #4, the hero car, for inspiration and information. The entire project will take about 2 years as I have a deployment coming up back to the sandbox. If anyone wants to follow the build, the cars outings, etc; please follow the car on Instagram and Facebook at https://www.instagram.com/rentthevicecar/ https://www.facebook.com/RentTheViceCar/ I plan on renting the car out for 80's Parties, Photos, Promos, Video, Car Shows, Instagram, YouTube, Trade shows, etc; as well as enjoying the car as much as possible at cars and coffee events and car show. Again, thank you to everyone for the great information source and MV community!

zidders
Sounds awesome save for the renting it out bit. I can't imagine risking an investment like that. The insurance & maintenance cost alone's gonna be nuts. Plus if someone gets drunk & breaks something you're gonna have trouble sourcing parts.
