TylerDurden389
Gesu Catholic Church is in a BAD neighborhood. Right off exit 1A on I-95, I believe. Glad you were there during the day. I was there a few months ago late at night to go this movie theater a few blocks away from the Church. Place was swimming in homeless people. After walking only one block after parking my car, some guy walked next to me for what felt like a good 2 minutes trying to sell me drugs. Had a family not crossed our paths (which I guess got him to cool off since there were kids around now), I didn't know if I'd get away. The theater was doing a 12 hour movie marathon, but after midnight I felt like if I stayed any later, my car wouldn't be waiting for me when I got back. Suffice to say I will not be visiting that theater, or that area at night ever again lol.

Yes, downtown Miami is horrible as soon as you get even a few blocks west of Biscayne Blvd. 10 blocks north of where you were is the bridge where Eddie gets killed by the car bomb. Everybody says that location is dangerous to visit even during the day.
airtommy
The Carl Fisher Memorial dedicated to the founding father of Miami Beach: The beautiful Fire Station No. 2, a designated historic site which we see in the opening teaser of "Child's Play": A plaque dedicated to Ivan Tors, the founder of the studio where MV was filmed: It has since been renamed "Greenwich tudios"
airtommy
The strongest Vice vibe I got was on Biscayne Blvd at night. The famous Coppertone sign we see in "Florence, Italy": The New Yorker Hotel. This was called the "Sunny Days Motel" when we saw it in "The Home Invaders" and other episodes: The second strongest Vice vibe was when I found perhaps the last payphone in Miami. I considered calling an ex-girlfriend and asking her if what we had was real, but that might have gotten weird. 1

airtommy
There are peacocks roaming free in Brenda's neighborhood in Coconut Grove: I didn't see any manatees in the river at Manatee Bend Park, just a few birds. Chickens right in the middle of downtown near the Miami Dade College: At Bayfront Park, this reminds me of Borrasca: Seriously, there are chickens roaming around all over Miami! If you're visiting Miami on a budget, you could just catch one and cook it. They're free range!
