Tom
Oh sad! Mark Blum, Brian Tarantina, now him! The MV guest stars circle is getting thinner and thinner each month ... I Did not know that he was already 81!
RedDragon86
Sad to hear, he was a magnificent actor. Great as Sheriff Teasle in "First Blood" and even better again in "To Catch a Killer"

Robbie C.
He was a fantastic actor. Great opposite James Woods in "Best Seller," which is to me very underrated.

Administrators Ferrariman Posted April 17, 2020 Administrators Report Share Posted April 17, 2020 I remember him all the way back as the bartender in "Arthur" with Dudley Moore. Tom is right. The hits just keep on coming. So sad

Tommy Vercetti
Sad news. Another great actor gone. He was a great actor and always excelled in his roles and he had a stellar filmography. My favourite of his is also Best Seller. Excellent movie. Too bad he wasn't in a better Vice episode as I never liked Amen...Send Money. He could've guest starred much better on Vice. He was also in Mann's 1979 TV movie The Jericho Mile. Brian was also the one that suggested Brian Cox to Mann for Manhunter so thanks for that, Brian. That was selfless of Brian because he wanted to play Dr. Leckter himself but he thought Brian Cox was even better for the role. He had worked with him on stage. Rest In Peace to a great actor. Farewell Brian. You will be missed. 9 hours ago, Ferrariman said: I remember him all the way back as the bartender in "Arthur" with Dudley Moore. Wrong movie, I'm afraid. He was actually in 10 from 1979. Edited April 17, 2020 by Tommy Vercetti
ViceFanMan
Amazing actor! He was also in the pilot TV movie for the 80s cop drama Hunter, starring Fred Dryer & Stepfanie Kramer...he played a psychiatrist serial killer. He will be greatly missed...RIP!! RIP Brian True that, he will always be Will It was a shame though that "To Catch a Killer" (playing serial killer John Wayne Gacy) was not a cinematic release instead of a TV Movie because he puts in a powerful performance, his best ever in my opinion. He's so creepy and at times hard to watch that when he gets upset or angry, very intense performance and film.
RedDragon86
Great in "The Jericho Mile" as well. To me he was one of those actors that made acting seem easy. A natural just like Garner, Brando, Hackman and DJ. Edited April 17, 2020 by RedDragon86
