Scot from S.C.
I saw an article and embedded video last week of these two twin brothers who video record their reactions to hearing songs for the first time. The two brothers are twenty-two-years-old, which means that they weren't even "a twinkle in their father's eye" when this monumental song was released in 1981. They also grew up listening to only rap music, so I believe the video is legitimate. It is a fun reaction video to watch, and since this song and Phil himself are such a huge part of the show and the 80s, it is worth a view. If nothing else, it will make you smile, and who couldn't use a good smile in these trying times? Enjoy pals! https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/08/08/us/twins-phil-collins-reaction-trnd/index.html In addition, the song has broken into the top ten again. https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2020/music/news/phil-collins-twins-reaction-video-in-air-tonight-hit-sales-1234730673/amp/ Edited August 11, 2020 by Scot from S.C. 1
Vicefan7777
I just read about this also. You beat me to the posting of it. It is great to see such an iconic song back on the charts to get a new generation to enjoy.
Mr. Vigilante
I'm guessing this song is played at least once a day on most major stations. Must be nice to still get paid every month for a song you wrote nearly 40 years ago. I could handle that!

It was so much fun watching these young guy's appreciate this classic! They were open to new music experiences and that's huge! mjcmmv
The drum solo gets me every time! And it got to these two young guys as well. You have to see they're reaction!
Dadrian
Wow! The power of the internet, and the power of great drums! Very cool. Spend that money, Phil!
