S.FL84
Another stellar guest who exemplified the monumental influence on mid 1980's popular culture has died. G. Gordon Liddy who played 'Maynard' on BACK IN THE WORLD is certain proof of just how freakin' huge MV was in it's day. Liddy was as big as it gets being one of the Watergate Burglers who broke into Democratic headquarters in support of Richard Nixon's presidential campaign. This guest role was akin to having Glen Frey play Jimmy the smuggling pilot. Again I have to post for the 1,000th+ time - Jeez those were some incredible times I am SOOO glad to have grown up in an can truly understand the cultural relevance of the show and guests like Frey and Liddy, among many other hugely influential people who guest starred in one of the if not THE most popular culture influential television shows in history. 1
