Some Vice Inspired Clothing

Just to see what folks think, I'm posting a few Miami Vice inspired items from my wardrobe.  Back when the show aired I tried to copy both Crockett & Tubbs' style depending on where I was hanging out. In those days, Los Angeles had plenty of neon night clubs and social happenings and dressing like Crockett or Tubbs on a Saturday night was a thing. These days, I don't try and put together exact or real close copies of specific combinations seen in any particular episode. I really just go for things that are " inspired" by specific pieces and lean more to Crockett's style because most of what Tubbs wore isn't all that comfortable these days. Enjoy.

Great collection pal! And you've got some particularly nice slip-ons there, really cool. I love the Dude pants :p

If you have more to show or would like to check out the stuff from others around here, you can also do it here:

Yeah, those are my wife's pajama pants hanging behind those clothes.  Probably shoulda taken those down before taking pictures  Thanks for the links. I definitely like to see how others are keeping the style alive. It's a beautiful thing when people can come together for a common purpose,  even if that purpose is homage to a great pop culture phenomenon.  Thanks for the kind words and links.

Ver nice, I especially like the white and blue horizontal striped blazer, and the gray blazer with black stripes. I actually had the white and blue one with the vertical stripes ("INC" brand, right?), but it was too tight, and I didn't like how the upper lapels looked around the collar. I like way too many of your shoes to pick a favorite.

Just added these to my blazer collection.  The white and blue has bigger stripes than anything Sonny wore but it works with almost everything else I wear and is a unique looking piece.

I am BEYOND jelly of that white and blue striped one. Lately the only good 80's inspired striped suit jackets I find in my size are all in the women's dept. on the websites I frequent, lol.
