I don't know if anyone has ever noticed, but to me "dead" and "dad" sound the same (or is that not the case?). Which would make Rosella's words very ambiguous: "it's like he died" and "he's my dad". I’ve mentioned before there are other similar clues throughout (that you don’t catch the first time because the outcome is so totally unexpected).
