Next word(s): LRP dogs (spoken)

Uh, Sonny in Back in the World, Season 2?

Sonny to Stone on his speedboat: "--and they were blowing away these beautiful 'LRRP dogs'." (about his experiences in the war)

Yes it was!

Assuming LR(R)P was long range patrol.

I think it was. I thought at first that it was a mistake with the subtitles for the DVDs 'cause I remembered 'LRRP' as the spelling instead. I was confused there for a second. I just found out that the extra 'R' means Reconnaissance.

Doesn’t he actually say, “Captain Curt”? :)

Would have to listen again. I always just assumed he said Captain Kirk.

I didn’t mean to seem like I was correcting you haha. It’s just funny to me when Izzy and Noogie say words wrong. It makes the crazy things they say even funnier. Idk if he says Curt or Kirk, though. I may be jumping to a very bee inconclusion ear. :p :)

I think that was Hank Weldon telling Crockett and Tubbs he arrested Arcaro in "Out Where The Buses Don't Run"

Possibly, but not the one I’m thinking of. Does Hank say “Miranded” or “Mirandized”? For some reason, the one I’m thinking of is the only time I ever notice this word on MV.

This is from Knock Knock Who's There, at a crime scene, spoken by Crockett to a cop who barely acknowledges him.

Great use of a Brian Adams song there in Heat of the Night

Indeed!  This is one of those Miami Vice songs that sounds as if the artist recorded it specifically with the show in mind.

Although Dire Straits’ “Ride Across the River” (from the same episode) seems to be about the Che Guevara revolution and The Amazon, all the sounds and vibes in that song completely capture the essence of season 3 Miami Vice—so much that I think it should have been included on the “Miami Vice II” soundtrack with some of those other great S3 tunes.

Character and Episode, please!

Is this Crockett in “Miami Squeeze” as he gives young Joey a crash course in approaching drug dealers undercover?

Nope, (btw, I had this one on my mind when I was trying to pick one until another episode popped to mind).

Then how about when Crockett accidentally provokes Eddie Kaye to blow up the Daytona in “When Irish Eyes Are Crying”?

”How do I know these are gonna go bang?”
