I liked Casino Royal and love JB in general, but I have to say they had better slow down the action sequences and zoom the lens out so that the viewer can see what they paid for, not just some blur of action. :evil:I was so P.O.ed at the opening of Quantum of Solace with that car chase you have to watch on DVD in slow-mo that I almost walked out of the theater within the first five minutes of the show!I couldn't see a thing and felt jipped by what they are now doing with the action stuff.I like the older Bond films as they don't have that crap in them. Dr. No is one of the all time best. No a lot of special effects and just plain old Bond acting.

Dr. No is one of the all time best. No a lot of special effects and just plain old Bond acting.[/quote']When I first saw Quantum, I was impressed by the action sequences, especially the opera scene, but I notice the editing in the beginning is just too chopped up and fast, upon a second viewing I realised that the story was one of the worse in the series considering it relies way too much on the previous movie to get it along, but what really got me was it seemed to be that Bond was becoming too similar to Jason Bourne of the Bourne Identity series, too much kung-fu and moronic action than serious James Bond stuff.I think the Dalton films were pretty much the last great Bond films except for Goldeneye and Casino Royale (but both are directed by the same director Martin Campbell), I always considered the original sixteen films running from 1962 until 1989 the real Bond series and we just keep getting modern spin-offs from that series, I used to consider The Living Daylights my favorite for being closer to the novels than previous films but now I would pick The Spy Who Loved Me for being the one to have the pefect formula of action and humor while still being well written.
