Blaming the previous administration is a time-honored tradition in presidential politics (heck, just in politics). And if anyone has a reason to moan about inheriting a bad situation, it's this guy. That doesn't address the oil spill, of course, but you see my point -- strange that this president is getting hammered more than others for doing what they all do. Fear of a black planet.

Fear of a black planet.

Exactly, and people are just waiting to see him fail for that single reason. Sad.

Fear of a black panet? No. Fear of a socialist/marxist/communist/statist/ authoritarian planet.

It's certainly going to be an interesting november this year when the elections are held.Personally I think they need to add another option to the ballot for the election of 2012: I dont think any of these people deserver the presidency and shouldn't have any sort of political power whatsoever.

There's at least one state (Nevada, I think) that has that option on every ballot.

The Pres BHO needs to shut down your internet whenever he wants to ...according to Joe Lieberman. http://www.theage.com.au/technology/technology-news/obama-internet-kill-switch-proposed-20100618-yln6.htmlNext, he will be in your bedroom and checking out the contents of your refridgerator, because he "needs to". Big Brother is watching you in 2010, just a few years after when he was to arrive in 1984.

Well everything is all in the name of safety and security today. I noticed everywhere from employers to local government, if they put it under the "guise" of safety/security they can get anything they want pushed through. I feel so much safer already knowing they are proposing this. :birdie:

The World Of Tomorrow (If They Shut Off The Internet)By: Chris Bucholz June 22nd, 2010http://www.cracked.com/blog/the-world-without-the-internet/

United States Senator and occasional Villain Joe Lieberman recently proposed a bill which would grant the President the power to shut down the Internet. This so called “kill switch†would be used to protect U.S. national interests in the event of some kind of Internet emergency, presumably something to do with Skynet or some kind of super Napster. Controversially, this kill switch could be activated unilaterally, regardless of the harm done to businesses or private users in the U.S. and around the world. Obviously the implications of such a plan are frightening, and it would be irresponsible for ...Read more: http://www.cracked.com/blog/the-world-without-the-internet/#ixzz0rhRD16ZC

Unless he can do it in the next four months which I doubt very seriously, his "Delusions of Grandeur" are over with and he'll be a lame duck for the next two years.

It's finally happened - Obama has completely gone over the edge. I present this video as conclusive evidence. Apparently, videos like the one that aired Tuesday morning, which begins with Obama outlining his new plan to provide healthier school lunches to the nation's children, but soon devolves into frantic editing, unsettling imagery, and dissonant audio effects, have left many wondering about the president's ultimate message. Of course, I have been left wondering about the Pres's message for quite a while. http://vimeo.com/12771369Eingefügtes Bild

Even if republicans gain control of the House and/or the Senate in November, they wouldn't take control until Jan. The dems could have a "lame duck session" of congress where they jam everything through that they can. All bets would be off because most of those voting for it would be out of a job in Jan. Anyway. Some of the things on their wishlist:Amnesty, Card check for unions (no secret ballot), VAT tax, Cap and Trade/Tax, Net Neutrality, and many other things...edited to add this story about Obama's strategy: http://www.nationalreview.com/campaign-spot/204251/obama-officially-embraces-lame-duck-session-strategy

Obama doesn't listen The will of the people and the letter of the law are secondary to the extreme progressive agenda. That describes this adminisration in a nutshell.http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/Will-Obama-listen-to-anybody_-96985499.html#ixzz0rmUo4JOc

There is a disturbing passage in federal Judge Martin Feldman's Tuesday decision overturning President Obama's six-month moratorium on oil and natural gas drilling in all waters more than 500 feet deep. "The [interior] Secretary's determination that a six-month moratorium on issuance of new permits and on drilling by the 33 rigs is necessary does not seem to be fact-specific and refuses to take into measure the safety records of those others in the Gulf. There is no evidence presented indicating that the Secretary balanced the concern for environmental safety with the policy of making leases available for development. There is no suggestion that the Secretary considered any alternatives. ..." Feldman wrote.Even more disturbing is Obama's response to Feldman, which was to promise both an appeal in court and issuance of a new drilling moratorium from Interior. In other words, Obama is forging ahead with the very policy the judge just ruled unconstitutional. And the chief executive is challenging the thousands of Gulf Coast oil industry employees to try and stop him in the appeals court. This response is the latest evidence of a disconcerting pattern with this president and his cronies in the executive branch and Congress: Their "progressive" ideological agenda comes first; everything else, including the will of the people and the letter of the law, is at most an obstacle on the road to "change we can believe in."

MSM (Mainsteam Media) continue to make idiots of themselves fawning over Pres BHO, while most of the country disagrees with the direction he is taking the country, the MSM is totally oblivious, and just making themselves look silly. Check out the video:Media Praise Obama's 'Brilliant' Handling of McChrystal Controversy By Kyle DrennenWed, 06/23/2010

President Obama's decision to relieve General Stanley McChrystal of command in Afghanistan and replace him with General David Petraeus was met with a chorus of praise in the media, as anchors and pundits on CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC all sang in unison that it was a "brilliant" move. [Audio available here] During live special coverage leading up to the announcement in the 1PM ET hour on CBS, White House correspondent Chip Reid proclaimed: "it sounds like a pretty brilliant decision really." At the same time on NBC, correspondent Jim Miklaszewski described it as a "stunning development" and added "at a quick glance, almost brilliant." Minutes later, White House correspondent Chuck Todd declared: "politically, in this town, it's going to be seen as a brilliant choice by the President."

I seem to remember the lamestream media calling General Petraus "Betray-us" when he was appointed by Bush, when Obama does it they rejoice and act like a giddy school girl outside a Barnes&Noble on the release of a new Twilight book.I guess Obama can still feel at ease that the lamestream media still loves him.:p
