Scot from S.C.
Wow, that is indeed sad news. I vividly remember his books and especially the back cover; the back covers usually had a full length picture of him in a leather jacket, looking tough, with a dog (Rottweiler). I still haven't gotten over my favorite mystery writer, Lawrence Sanders, passing away several years ago. Even though Vince Lardo has picked Sanders' series up, I still miss his style. R.I.P. to both great writers of mystery.
