Stinger390X Posted April 20, 2010 Report Share Posted April 20, 2010 WOW!!!Just saw the movie "The Runaways" last night.I was listening to CBC radio last week and a program called "Q" was interviewing Cherie Curie regarding her book about the band which is now a movie. I was so intrigued by the interview I told myself I would have to check out the movie.Well...lets just say I went back in time!!!Dakota Fanning plays "Cherie" and she was remarkably the same. The girl that played Joan Jett was spot on! The rest were also uncanny!!!The story line was good and the movie was very well done.I can remember being back in grade 11 and listening to the album over at a girlfriends house.(she was right into them for sure)Brought back a lot of memories for sure and the costumes, hair makeup etc etc etc were fabulous!Well done...I recommend it.By the way there were five teenage girls sitting in the row in front of me and I don't think the got it???
