I always got the impression that Izzy kind-of stuck around Miami because of Crockett and Tubbs, they kind-of made his life easier, he could get away with things as long as he tipped them off - not to mention that I think he really liked hanging out with those guys in the end.I think once Crockett and Tubbs threw the towel in, Izzy left Miami with Manny, possibly going to Cuba or maybe another part of the states. If anything he probably got away with so much more once he was off their radar! Izzy is probably alive and well in the south of Florida!
