widereceiver 88
I was watching Definitely Miami again and there's one scene that baffles me a bit and that is where Charlie Basset finds Sonny with Callie in the bedroom, then starts to smack him around without putting up a fight. Was it suppose to happened that way, because the Burnett that we know is tough and without fear - example how he fought that big guy Reb in Viking Bikers at the end. Anyone else also saw it?Later
Christine
I remember that scene. In my opinion, Crockett was too surprised to fend Charlie off. He didn´t expect the guy to return while he was there. Charlie slapped him in the face and threw him out of the room. I could imagine that Sonny didn´t do anything because he was afraid that Calleigh would have to carry the can for that.
Gary1911A1
As I recall Charlie had a Taurus 9MM. At that point it would be dangerous for Sonny to fight him back. If you look closely you can see Sonny reaching for his Bren Ten under his jacket, but Sonny gets thrown out the door before he has a chance to draw. Administrators timm525 Posted April 10, 2011 Administrators Report Share Posted April 10, 2011 And I think that was the nail in the coffin that Callie was setting him up all along. But yeah, as Gary said, he did start to go from his gun but Charlie already had the drop on him.
