Vicechic84 Posted December 10, 2008 Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 This is frightening information to know that even after replacing your worn tires with so called 'new' tires the chances of those being safe (if sitting on the garage/store shelves for over 6 years old) are equally if not far more hazardous than your old ones could be. My 02 Jag, which I had two tires put on the front last year are dated 01.The "new" tires are older than when the car was actually manufactured!Nice!
