COOPER&BURNETT
hey everyone I noticed on golden triangle pt 1 that mann came under the credits as wrighter for the ep' date=' I checked on imdb but it hasent gotten any of vice as written by mann does any one here know what and how many episodes of vice he wrote?...I'm very interested to know[/quote']All I know is, Golden Triangle was based on experiences he had wall in the Golden Triangle in 1979/80. He made 3 trips to southeast Asia to research a screenplay he was writing. The screenplay was called, DARK SOCIETIES. He went to Burma, Hong Kong, and THAILAND. He talked to tribesmen in Thailand, Opium warlords, and Chinese armymen who were exiled. He saw drug battles between the CIA and the DEA. Those battles actually occured, even though they were both U.S. agencys. Broken down, these experiences are what led to GOLDEN TRIANGLE PT1 & 2.-COOP
