November 19th - 25th:There was no Season 5 episode premiere this week."Like A Hurricane", the 8th episode of the 4th season, premiered on NBC on Friday, November 20th, 1987 at 9PM EST. Some notes about this episode (from Miami Vice Wiki):* Jan Hammer makes a cameo appearance playing at Crockett's wedding, the second (and final) time he appears in person on the show. * This episode was rushed through post-production (only 15 days between the end of filming and airing) to avoid leaks of the episode's content.* The part of Caitlin was originally to be played by Lorraine Bracco (later to be married to Edward James Olmos), but she was forced to withdraw due to an illness. Easton was cast as a replacement.* During Crockett's sendoff at OCB, a boom microphone is visible at the top of the screen. "Baby Blues", the 9th episode of the 3rd season, premiered on NBC on Friday, November 21st, 1986 at 9PM EST. Some notes about this episode (from Miami Vice Wiki):* Philip Michael Thomas' stunt double, Ernest Robinson, was hospitalized after he burned his legs performing the stunt where Tubbs jumps out of Hector's exploding apartment. The footage was left in the episode (if you watch closely, you can see 'Tubbs' catch fire as he exits the bottom right of the screen after crashing through the window). This ended Robinson's stunt career. * The hotel where Angela Mitchell and Eduardo Vasquez were found dead still exists today, though the name has been changed from "The Waldorf Towers" to "The Room Mate Towers." "Bushido", the 8th episode of the 2nd season, premiered on NBC on Friday, November 22nd, 1985 at 10PM EST. Some notes about this episode (from Miami Vice Wiki):* "Bushido" refers to the code of honour of the samurai warrior class in Japan. * This episode is Edward James Olmos' directorial debut. * This story references the then-ongoing Cold War between the former Soviet Union and the United States. There was no Season 1 episode premiere this week.

I was impressed to see Tubbs in the next scene having his pants in flawless condition despite nearly having his legs burnt off :)

I know, right. I just rewatched this episode and Tubbs appeared in Castillo's office like it was a "walk in the park " jumping out of a window during a bomb blast, too funny...
