April 15th - April 21st:**There was no Season 1 Premiere episode this week****There was no Season 2 Premiere episode this week****There was no Season 3 Premiere episode this week**"A Bullet For Crockett", the 20th episode of the 4th season, premiered on NBC on Friday, April 15th, 1988 at 10PM EST. Some notes on this episode (from Miami Vice Wiki):* This episode is comprised mainly of clips from previous episodes, along with new footage shot specifically to have the clips fit into an overall plot. * Stock operation footage was used to depict the doctors operating on Crockett after his arrival at the hospital. * This is the last time Crockett will be shot on Miami Vice. * This is the final episode John Petersen would contribute background music to Miami Vice. The final two episodes of the fourth season, "Deliver Us From Evil" and "Mirror Image", would be scored by Jan Hammer exclusively (except for the pop music used). * This episode was the final one filmed for the fourth season, which was likely to increase secrecy surrounding its plot and to call Crockett's survival into question. In fact, there were rumors among Vice fans at the time that Crockett was indeed going to be killed off. Due to the mention of Caitlin and the fact Crockett is not yet Sonny Burnett, this episode was ultimately broadcast third from the end of the season to maintain continuity. * A few brief close-ups of Crockett during the opening car chase are clearly re-used from previous episodes; specifically, "Shadow In The Dark" and "Love At First Sight". * In the Medivac helicopter, Crockett's age is estimated to be "approximately 35". Don Johnson was 38 at the time this episode was shot. * The gun shown firing in the close-up when Crockett is wounded is a different make and model to the one Angel is seen pointing at him in the preceding shot. **There was no Season 5 Premiere episode this week**
