In The "Prodigal Son" Sonny called Newton Blade " the Sears and Roebuckof controlled substances". What was he driving at? Who\what are these Sears and Roebuck and what are they famous for?

Sears and Roebuck is the old name for a large USA chain of retail stores' date=' now just called [b']Sears. So the reference refers to the idea that Blade is a major retailer of drugs, aka controlled substances.

Sears Roebuck is/was a U.S. Department store that carried a little bit of everything and also had a catalog where you could order things from. He is probably saying that any kind of drugs could be obtained through Newton Blade.
