Tom
Now we have proof that the doctor aftermath scenes with Burnett and Celeste were filmed in the same building as Mappy´s restaurant. The building was the Van Ness Hotel, built in 1931 and has the address of 1390 Ocean Drive. On the facade the Van Ness has the same 3 triangle shaped pattern as we see in the room corner behind Burnett. This is again a unique Art Deco pattern only on this building. See pictures below.
Tom
as we don´t have realtor pics of Burnett´s villa, we need to tap drone pics of Hurricane Harbor...
Tom
at second sight the kinked stairs of the El Gato hideaway used in this episode and the previous one (Hostile takeover) are a great hint that they used the Burnett villa at 710 Harbor Drive with its unique octagonal pattern as the kinked layout of the stairs is a unique match (not only the angle/the kink, but also the fact that the octagonal stair part is in the middle of the floor layout with a rectangular shape around it like we see it in El Gatos hideaway). Also the marble floor and the color of the stairs (material light carpet) in the El Gato hideaway are great coincidences with the marble floor pretty much ruling out studio sets. I measured and compared the width of the stairs in both and its the same too. Another unusual coincidence. See comparison below. Tom
Here is a first nice pic of the long lost Burnett Villa that @daytona365 found in early 2020. The building has indeed similar color/pattern and grooves like in the El Gato hide-away. Edited January 7, 2022 by Tom
